General information:

The Multi locking tibia treatment nail offers significant additional indications beyond the general diaphyseal fracture treatment of the tibia. The available locking holes provide appropriate locking directions for the most common arrangements of fragments in the case of proximal end comminuted fractures.

Despite the various proximal locking options, the targeting is facilitated by an easy to use multifunctional aiming arm. During surgery, there is no need to change aiming attachments or use assembly tools to reach different locking directions. After the quick manual release of the fixing element, the aiming arm can be rotated to the desired position. For the treatment of both right and left tibia, the same universal parts are required, with only the appropriate side of the aiming arm attachment needing to be used. The distal targeting can be performed with the support of X-ray image intensifier with a free-hand technique.

The design of the implants: Nails are available in solid or cannulated versions, and their universal anatomical shape allows them to be used for both right and left tibial fractures. The proximal bending facilitates insertion and conforms to the medullary canal. A wide range of diameters, from 8 to 13 mm in 1 mm diameter increments, is available. For proximal locking, surgeons can choose from 4 planes or 5 different directions by adjusting the aiming arm. In addition to AP direction, anterolateral, anteromedial, and medial locking directions, dynamic fixation is also an option. Distal locking is also possible in four planes. The presence of two AP and two lateral distal holes near the nail tip allows the MTT nail to be used even for far distal fractures. The used locking screw size is 4.9 mm.

Both stainless steel and titanium alloy material options are available.
